A living archive
Projects share a common archive, while writing has its own space. The family history research stays on its original site, connected here through a project entry.
How it’s built
The site uses Next.js App Router, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Essays live in local MDX files, and project information is kept separate from the page components.
Pages are rendered ahead of time. Navigation works without client JavaScript, and system fonts keep the reading experience independent of external font services.
Room to keep making
The editorial layout uses warm paper tones, muted greens, and serif typography. A shared card system brings different kinds of work together without giving each discipline a separate visual identity.
